Facebook is testing a new dynamic that is very similar to a feed service based on the images of our friends.
This function called “Popular Photos”will allow users to access a special section dedicated to photos posted by our friends. It works thanks to Facebook’s algorithm.

This new section is similar to Instagram, where we can call it a small Instagram within Facebook, which allows you to take a break from posts and status updates and browse only photos provided by Facebook randomly.
The user should only touch the image they want to see, and will open it in full-screen mode on a black background to make it a more comfortable experience.
Right now, it’s just a test done by Facebook, but it hasn’t been released yet. However, they told TC that they have plans to continue introducing this post soon.
We’ll see if Facebook considers this dynamic to be a good idea or whether it will stay on the road like a lot of other experimental tests.
